Eucalyptus radiata.
Family Myrtaceae, from Australia. Producer body: leaves.
Type of smell: characteristic, fresh, which releases the "bronchial tubes".

Major properties:
-supports the immune system
-decongests the respiratory tract
-expectorant: promotes the removal of phlegm in a thick  cough
-dries a runny nose
-lowers fever
-improves mood and provides energy

Possible uses: respiratory, febrile States, natural defences. Among all species of eucalyptus (globulus, lemon...), it is only recommended for small, devoid of any toxicity, safe job and that assaults not skin.

-all respiratory illnesses, whether viral (colds, flu) or bacterial (bronchitis, sinusitis, ear infections...)
-skin infections: infected acne, sore which does not heal wound that it is unable to clean up...

Possible other uses: it can lower fever taking baths feet: pour in hot water 10 drops of eucalyptus diluted in 1 teaspoon tbsp of bath base or milk.

Recommended uses:
-dermal application: rub the chest, upper back, the solar plexus and the neck using 5 eucalyptus drops diluted in 5 drops of vegetable oil (macadamia nuts or almond if possible). In the event of skin infections, apply 1 to 2 drops pure on the affected skin area.
-dispersion, inhalation: broadcast in ambient air, home, or office, especially in the case of epidemics. It is also possible to make the puffs dry (a few drops pure in a handkerchief) or wet (a few drops in a bowl of simmering water). Breathe for 10 minutes.

This essential oil is especially well tolerated by children, including babies. However, like all essential oils, the disbarred eucalyptus is prohibited during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Do not use it during breastfeeding.
