On contact with blister moisture the hydrocolloid dressing forms a protective skin-replenishing gel that promotes healing and relieves pain. Formulated with a central thickened patch, the dressing effectively isolates the blister from pressure and rubbing. Its tapered edges provide more flexibility to give a second skin effect.
Do not burst the blister. If the blister is already burst, clean with soap and water, and apply a transparent antiseptic. Warm the dressing in the palms of your hands before removing the protective packaging. Apply to clean and dry skin by positioning the central part of the dressing directly on the blister. Carefully smooth the edges to optimize adhesion. The dressing will detach itself after 2 to 3 days. It is advisable to wait until the dressing comes off spontaneously.
